Hot Dog Bags
Have a game of mini golf in your backyard! You can buy a bunch of little golf sets and set them up on your lawn. Or have the kids help out and make fun “mini-golf” decorations (their favorite characters, fake bridges or obstacles, etc) for the course, using cardboard boxes, Styrofoam, paint, toys or blocks…you get the idea!
We’ll call this one the Father’s Day Guessing Game…ask each kid what they think their father’s job is and write down the answers on a slip on paper. Then show the kids’ Dads what they said…you’ll all have a great time laughing at the answers! After all, kids say the darndest things!
Have a face-shaving contest with whipped cream and popsicle sticks. Each Dad will put the whipped cream on his face like a beard (be sure to get pictures!) and the kids will race to see who can “shave” it off the fastest (using the popsicle sticks). It’s a fun game for the kids and adults, and you’ll get some great shots of the Dads looking silly!
…Every Party Needs A Favor!
Well, that isn’t exactly true…at a Father’s Day party favors are not a must. However, if you do choose to send the guests home with a little something, here are a few ideas:
